Larsa Pippen went on a podcast with Hollywood Raw recently, where she revealed what happened between her and the Kardashians. It’s an open secret that their relationship is soured. But fans had never been treated to the reason why the whole Kardashian clan had unfollowed The Real Housewives of Miami star.
It might just involve Tristan Thompson. In the podcast, the reality star cleared up rumors that she caused the split between Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian. However, Pippen revealed that she had an affair with Thompson long before he met Khloe. She also revealed she was the one who introduced the NBA star to the Kardashians.
“I brought him to a party Kim had,” she said. “I introduced him to all of them. Then a week later, or 10 days later, he started seeing Khloe, which is fine; I don’t even care. It’s whatever…I never cared that Khloe was with him after me.”
However, Pippen was quick to deny that she’s been seeing Thompson recently and that an affair may have ensued.
“I would never do that,” she stated. “That’s not even my personality. I applaud Khloe and Tristan for working things out. I think it’s great they are trying to work on their relationship. I’m really proud of them.”
It’s been a tense summer between Pippen and the Kardashians for what used to be a really great relationship between the model and the Kardashian family. So bad was their relationship that Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe unfollowed Pippen on Instagram. Kanye West got involved in the whole drama at some point, and Pippen accused him of being behind her current estrangement by the Kardashians.
She explained that prior to their falling out, she used to be a good confidant of Kanye. She said she was the obvious choice to call when Kanye needed someone to talk to and that their calls sometimes extended to the late hours of the night. She revealed she had to put a stop to this, and that singular act must have upset him to turn him against her. She said although her estrangement from the Kardashians and Kanye was hurtful, she had moved on.
Pippen is the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, an NBA great from the Jordan Michael era. The pair wedded in 1997 and went on to have a 20-year successful marriage that produced four children. She filed for a divorce in 2018.
Khloe and Thompson first got together in 2016. After a tumultuous relationship laced with cheating scandals, they split in 2019. However, the couple has since rekindled their relationship.
