Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have shared their first family photo of their baby daughter in a photo that showed the pair looking fabulously loved up. It was Halloween and the chance for the family to celebrate once again the arrival of their daughter.
For Halloween, Hadid decided to go with a tight-fitting costume, right next to the love of her life, who took a pose with their newborn baby. The couple looked very happy as they gazed admiringly at their daughter in the photo. The picture, posted on social media, proved just how well the pair is settling into family life.
Gigi had a cute caption for her photo, which she tagged, “My First Halloween.”
Although the face of the baby was hidden by emojis, the look on her parents showed a couple who were nothing but happy to be starting a family. Malik was the first to give fans an update on the birth of their daughter in September in a Twitter post.
“Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful,” he wrote. “To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together.”
According to insiders, Hadid is said to be glad about her delivery and currently adjusting well to motherhood, enjoying the feeling it brings. The source said that it was hard transiting for the new mother, especially during the first few weeks but concluded she had handled it well so far.
The source noted that Hadid prefers the privacy of raising her daughter without public scrutiny, and so much may not be seen of mother and daughter on social media. So, fans were delighted when photos of the baby were posted, although obscured.
During an interview with the i-D magazine back in February, the 25-year old model had spoken about her desire to raise a family. “I think that as I get older…well, one day, I’ll start a family, and I don’t know if I will always be modeling,” she said.
The couple is yet to announce the name of their daughter, but fans have one for her already, “Zigi.”
